Hey friend! I’m Bethany. I am a twenty-something native Tennessean, writer and busy stay-at-home-mom. I’m a wife to Jonathan, a mama to twins, Jack + Wade, and a two year old miracle boy, Banks.
I am a Placenta Percreta survivor, and the story of my delivery with my third baby, Banks, has been shared nationwide as a testament to the nearness and tenderness of God. It has also served as an encouragement to women everywhere suffering miscarriage, and messy hopes in their journey to motherhood.
Blogging is not my job-but storytelling is my passion. Unlike many influencer accounts and sites out there, the content you find here will be a little more transparent. This blog was born out of loss. I suffered a miscarriage in 2016 and chose to blog my journey post-pregnancy, not knowing anyone else surrounding me had walked through the same grief. 5 years later, I developed a life threatening pregnancy complication and blogged every step of the way, providing insight and ultimately hope to those facing the same condition. “Surviving Till Sunday” has since grown into a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness in the good times and the bad and has evolved from a simple blog-to a thriving community.
This blog helps me to connect with women at all points in their faith walk by transparently writing about life: the good, the bad, and the ugly. It also provides me with a beautiful reminder of the nearness and tenderness of God.
In my not-so-spare time, I serve as the Marketing Director for our local theatre company-Audience of One. I am a classically trained soprano with a background in vocal performance and I love being on stage. However, these days, my most requested repertoire is the Sesame Street Alphabet-and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I hope you leave this site encouraged, and come back to visit again and again. I’m so glad you’re here!
XOXO,
B.
