Happy New Year friends!
2016 was a year full of change for me. I quit my job, got pregnant, suffered a miscarriage, started a blog, started a new job, put our house on the market, discovered essential oils, and finally admitted to myself I had an anxiety problem. I also bottle fed twin calves at the same time all by myself in heels. That friends, is quite a feat.
Jon and I sat and talked the other day about my blog and the direction I wanted to take going forward. What started as a way to express grief has turned into a fun adventure that I want to make a full time hobby and pray that you will join me on that journey. I will go ahead and warn you: I’m not that interesting and I don’t lead the most interesting life. I do not have it all together and honey, I don’t claim to have it all together. However, I do make it a point to write about things that matter. Miscarriage matters. Farm wives matter. Grieving mothers matter. Struggling wives matter. Anxiety ridden women matter. God’s grace matters. Realizing who you are in Christ, matters. Feeling confident matters. Loving others and lifting them up matters. Getting up early to look presentable, working, then coming home to feed your husband and baby calves matters. And some days, especially if your husband has you on a budget, scoring super cute shoes at Target half price matters. So in 2017, I promise to stick to my core and talk about things that matter.
I am planning on making some big changes to my website in the coming months that will include a link to the Facebook page, my personal Instagram, a contact form and some other surprises up our sleeves.
Thank you for supporting me on this journey. Praying you will be abundantly blessed in 2017!
xoxo-Beth
