“Who is God to you now?”
I’ve been asked that question twice in the last few weeks: once in counseling and once in a podcast interview.
It used to be a hard question to answer.
But now it isn’t.
And the only words that come to my mind and simultaneously move me to tears are as follows: a treasured friend.
Recently, I sat down with Sarah and Liz from ChosenGirl to discuss my story, my journey, and my (re)newed relationship with the Lord. We recorded our convo and added it to the ChosenGirl podcast. I would love, if you haven’t already, for you to take a listen. I share my heart and answer the question above. God is doing great things in my corner of the world. Even in the midst of the chaos surrounding me right now, He’s providing so many opportunities to share what He’s done for me….and not in a “cliche'” Sunday School kind of way. They’re real, authentic, vulnerable, honest opportunities and I am humbled at every one. I’ll be sure to post all of the links ahead here. And maybe, here in a day or two, I’ll have some time and space to update you all on all that God is showing me each day. But right now, I’m going to continue watching “White Christmas” in June.
I’m still walking out my faith. But I’m not fearful or trembling right now-in fact, I’m downright happy.
Thank y’all for loving me so much. I love you right back.
XOXO,
B
